Our history
MK T and B is short for Milton Keynes Tyres and Batteries. The company was first established in 1973, offering general mechanical work and body repairs. We have come a very
long way since those early days (though not physically, as we are still located in the same road!). Early on, we decided to stop offering paint and bodywork services, and instead to concentrate purely
on mechanical, electrical and electronics repairs, as well as routine servicing and MOTs. We do, however, still offer replacement tyres, batteries and exhausts, and usually at rates far lower than
so-called 'specialist' centres. We offer a vast
range of services and are well known locally for providing excellent value key cutting, and replacement vehicle remotes and remote keys. In fact, we are one of the leading suppliers of
replacement Renault key cards in the UK. We also offer an extremely wide variety of specialised
technical electronic services, covering everything from simple repairs, through diagnosing and rectifying DPF and EGR problems, and on to highly detailed electronic work, such as replacement
or repair of faulty ECUs and reprogramming of virtually any control unit. In addition, we are certified operatives for Quantum Tuning engine remapping in Milton Keynes.
A number of years ago we moved a short distance to our current premises in Bletchley. We remain a family owned and run company, and have never forgotten the established values of customer service and reasonable prices that have put us firmly on the map in Milton Keynes, and have resulted in much of our business coming from personal recommendations. Our current premises are extremely well equipped and we have all the latest computer hardware and software, together with well-trained, knowledgeable and experienced engineers. The firm was established by Mr Morgan Senior, and since his sad passing a number of years ago, it has been run and managed by his three sons in partnership. We have always stuck to our fundamental principles of honest trading, excellent value and the highest possible standards. The ratings and feedback we have received from our clients are universally excellent, and we are incredibly proud of our reputation. We are also members of a wide range of professional organisations.
Services
Among the services we offer from our Milton Keynes premises are DPF and EGR fault diagnosis and repair, general key cutting and car key cutting, replacement vehicle remotes and remote keys, electronic diagnostics, ECU programming, ECU replacement and repair, engine management software upgrades and engine remapping. We also offer routine servicing and mechanical repairs for virtually any car or light commercial vehicle and we are a registered MOT test centre. In addition we supply and replace tyres, batteries and full or part exhaust systems.
The list of vehicles for which we have the correct and up-to-date software is extensive. As well as the major manufacturers, such as Ford, Vauxhall, Peugeot, Renault and Volkswagen, we deal with more specialised vehicles, including Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Porsche and most Japanese and Far East makes. Whether your car needs a regular service, a major mechanical repair or repair of an electrical or electronic fault, you can always trust us to provide an old-fashioned level of service and quality, a very fair price, and friendly staff with the latest technology and expertise. If you are local, we also offer off-site services for most replacement vehicle remotes and key programming. By arrangement, and subject to availability, we also have a loan car available for customers.
